Blackjack Is Like A Rollercoaster
Blackjack is a game that reminds me somewhat of a roller coaster. Blackjack is a game that starts off slowly, but gradually gains speed. As you ramp up your bank roll, you feel like you are making moves to the top of the coaster and then when you are not expecting it, the bottom drops.
Blackjack is so akin to a rollercoaster the similarities are astonishing. As is the case with the popular amusement ride, your black jack game will peak and things will be going well for a while before it bottoms out once again. You must be a bettor that shall be able to readjust to the ups … downs of the game given that the game of blackjack is full of them.
If you like the small coaster, one that won’t go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way you can enjoy the roller coaster ride is with a bigger wager, then jump on for the mad ride of your life on the monster coaster. The deep pocket gambler will love the view from the monster crazy ride because he/she is not considering the drop as they rush head first to the top of the game.
A win goal and a loss limit works well in blackjack, but very few players adhere to it. In blackjack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it is going up, that is an amazing feeling, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster starts to twist and turn, you had better bail out in a hurry.
If you don’t, you might not naturally recall how much you enjoyed the view while your profit was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a great ride and your head in the air. As you are recounting "what ifs", you won’t always remember how "high up" you went but you will recall that catastrophic drop as clear as day.
